60W JPT EM7 MOPA Fiber Laser Engraver for Color, Deep and Production Marking
The Haotian 60W EM7 pairs a genuine JPT YDFLP-E-60-M7-M-R MOPA laser source with a Sino-Galvo SG7110 scan head, an original JCZ controller and full LightBurn support. It is the machine most of our customers choose when they want one laser that marks color on stainless steel, engraves deep into brass and steel, and still runs fast enough for daily batch work.
MOPA means pulse width and frequency are set independently. On the EM7 you choose from 17 waveforms between 2 and 500 ns and set the frequency anywhere from 1 to 4000 kHz. Short pulses leave clean, low heat marks on plastics, anodized aluminum and thin parts. Long pulses with up to 1.5 mJ of pulse energy remove metal quickly for deep engraving and relief work. The source is fully air cooled, so there is no chiller to buy, fill or maintain.
Made with the 60W JPT EM7
Real jobs sent to us by customers: MOPA colour on layered coins, deep engraved steel dies and fine shade control on polymer.
💡 Why the 60W EM7 Is Our Best Seller
It covers almost every job a fiber laser shop sees: color marking, black marking on stainless, white and black on anodized aluminum, deep engraving, jewelry, firearms, tags and industrial part marking. You get MOPA flexibility, a 2-year warranty and free DDP shipping without paying for power you will rarely use.
Built for Industry, Engraving Businesses and Makers
One machine, three very different buyers. Here is how each of them gets value from a 60W MOPA fiber laser.
JPT EM7 vs JPT M7: Which 60W MOPA Fits Your Work
Both sources are built by JPT and both are true MOPA fiber lasers at 1064 nm. The EM7 belongs to the JPT E series, a cost optimized line for shops that want MOPA results at a lower entry price. The M7 is the JPT standard line, picked by buyers who run the laser for long shifts every day. For most color marking, deep engraving and personalization jobs, the marking quality is the same.

Pulse Width and Full Power Frequency
A MOPA source holds its full 60 W only up to a certain frequency for each pulse width. Below the cut off frequency you get full power. Above it the pulse energy stays constant and average power drops. Use this table from the JPT manual when you build your own settings.
| Pulse width | Full power up to | Maximum frequency |
|---|---|---|
| 2 ns | 1950 kHz | 4000 kHz |
| 4 ns | 1350 kHz | 4000 kHz |

| 13 ns | 412 kHz | 3000 kHz |
| 20 ns | 225 kHz | 3000 kHz |
| 30 ns | 187 kHz | 3000 kHz |
| 45 ns | 150 kHz | 2000 kHz |
| 60 ns | 135 kHz | 2000 kHz |
| 80 ns | 112 kHz | 2000 kHz |
| 100 ns | 105 kHz | 1000 kHz |
| 150 ns | 57 kHz | 1000 kHz |
| 200 ns | 45 kHz | 1000 kHz |
| 250 ns | 42 kHz | 900 kHz |
| 350 ns | 40 kHz | 600 kHz |
| 500 ns | 30 kHz | 500 kHz |
Galvo Upgrades for 2D, 2.5D and True 3D Marking
The galvo head decides how fast the beam moves, how large the marking field can be and whether the laser can follow curved or stepped surfaces. The 60W EM7 ships with the SG7110 as standard. Pick an upgrade when your work needs relief carving, a larger field or a deep focus range.
| Scan head | Marking type | Aperture | Marking field | Software | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sino-Galvo SG7110 (standard) | 2D | 10 mm | 70 to 300 mm, set by the F-theta lens | EZCAD2, LightBurn | Everyday marking, color, deep engraving and rotary work |
| SG2206 or JCZ G3 Pro | 2.5D with EZCAD3 upgrade | 10 mm | 70 to 300 mm, set by the F-theta lens | EZCAD3 | Relief coins, layered depth maps, faster jumps between objects |
| Feeltek FR10-F | True 3D dynamic focus | 10 mm | 100×100 mm (15 mm Z range) or 200×200 mm (80 mm Z range) | LenMark 3DS | Curved, domed and stepped parts without moving the Z axis |
| Feeltek FR20-F | True 3D, large field | 20 mm | 100×100 mm up to 600×600 mm (Z range up to 200 mm) | LenMark 3DS | Large plates, panels, signs and big 3D parts |
JCZ G3 Pro: marking speed 4000 mm/s, positioning speed 10000 mm/s, tracking error 0.25 ms, XY2-100 interface.
Feeltek FR10-F: 8 µrad repeatability, tracking error 0.13 ms or less, spot size from 0.025 mm on the 100 mm field.

60W EM7 Fiber Laser Questions and Answers
Yes. It uses the JPT YDFLP-E-60-M7-M-R MOPA source. Pulse width can be set from 2 to 500 ns in 17 waveforms, independently from the frequency, which runs from 1 to 4000 kHz. That independent control is what makes color marking and clean marking on sensitive materials possible.
No. The laser source is air cooled. Keep the room between 0 and 40 °C, ideally 10 to 30 °C, and leave about 10 cm of free space in front of and behind the source so air can flow. Fiber laser sources like the JPT EM7 are built for up to 100,000 working hours when they are cooled and used this way.
Both are true JPT MOPA lasers at 1064 nm with the same type of pulse control. The EM7 is part of the cost optimized E series and suits most engraving businesses and makers. The M7 is the standard line for buyers who run long production shifts every day.
Yes. By adjusting pulse width, frequency, speed and line spacing, the EM7 creates a wide range of oxide colors on stainless steel and titanium. Our support team helps you dial in color settings for your material.
Depth depends on material, lens and the number of passes. With 1.5 mJ of pulse energy it handles deep engraving in steel, brass and aluminum for dies, stamps, coins and relief work. If deep engraving or thin metal cutting is your main job every day, the 100W or 200W M7 does it much faster.
Yes. The machine ships with EZCAD2 and is fully compatible with LightBurn for galvo lasers on Windows, macOS and Linux. The LightBurn license is purchased from LightBurn.
The standard SG7110 is right for most buyers. Choose SG2206 or JCZ G3 Pro with EZCAD3 for 2.5D relief work, the Feeltek FR10-F for true 3D marking on curved parts, or the Feeltek FR20-F for large fields up to 600×600 mm.
Smaller fields give a smaller spot and more energy density, which suits jewelry, fine detail, color marking and deep engraving. Larger fields fit bigger parts such as plates, signs and tumblers. Two lenses are included, a common choice is 110×110 mm plus 175×175 mm or 210×210 mm.
Yes. A rotary is included and you choose the size: D60 for rings and bracelets, D80 for cups and tumblers up to 70 mm, or D100 for larger tumblers up to 90 mm.
