100W JPT M7 MOPA Fiber Laser Engraver
The Haotian 100W JPT M7 MOPA is built around the JPT YDFLP-100-M7-M-R M-version source with 1.5 mJ maximum pulse energy and a near single mode beam, M² less than 1.4. It is our most popular high power air cooled fiber laser for deep metal engraving, full color marking on stainless steel, 3D relief carving and thin metal cutting up to 1.5 mm on brass and aluminum.
At 100W you have twice the average power of a 50W machine, so long deep engraving jobs finish in roughly half the time. That is double your production capacity and a direct path to higher profits for your shop. The JPT M7 MOPA architecture gives you independent control over pulse width (2 to 500 nanoseconds) and frequency (1 to 4,000 kHz), meaning you can switch from aggressive deep carving to delicate color marking in seconds without changing any hardware.
Every Haotian 100W comes standard with a quartz F-theta lens for superior beam quality at high power, a motorized Z-axis for precise height adjustment at the touch of a button, EZCad 2 original software, and full LightBurn compatibility. We include 2 lenses of your choice, a rotary attachment, foot pedal, safety glasses, and a fixed aluminum worktable. All machines ship free worldwide with DDP delivery to the US, Canada, and EU.
Made with the 100W JPT M7
Real jobs sent to us by customers: deep 3D relief coins, pendants and plaques, many cut with the Feeltek 3D galvo upgrade, plus deep engraved stamps and MOPA colour marking on steel.
💡 Why 100W Instead of 60W?
Our 60W JPT M7 sells for $6,400. This 100W sells for $6,900. For just $500 more, you get 67% more average output power, significantly faster deep engraving, faster and cleaner thin metal cutting, a quartz F-theta lens for superior beam quality at high power, and more consistent results across larger lens areas. If you are considering a 60W or higher, the 100W is the smarter investment for serious production work.
What Is Included
Every Haotian 100W JPT M7 ships with everything you need to start engraving on day one. No hidden costs, no expensive add-ons.

Pulse Width and Full Power Frequency
A MOPA source reaches its full 100W only above a certain frequency for each pulse width, called the cut off frequency. Above it you get full average power. Below it the source keeps its peak power and the average power drops. These values come from the JPT M7 manual for the YDFLP-100-M7-M-R. Download the full manual with the button next to the SKU, or open the JPT M7 datasheet (PDF).

100W vs 60W - Why the Upgrade Pays for Itself
If you are choosing between our 60W M7 and this 100W M7, here is the real comparison. Both are powerful MOPA machines that can handle the same jobs. The difference is speed. At 100W you get 67% more average power, significantly faster deep engraving, faster thin metal cutting with cleaner edges, better performance across large lens areas, and a quartz F-theta lens standard. The 60W keeps a higher 2.0 mJ pulse energy, the 100W trades it for much more speed. For just $500 more, you save hours on every deep engraving job.

Frequently Asked Questions
At 80W and above, standard glass F-theta lenses cannot handle the thermal load from the high-power laser beam. The quartz lens has a much higher damage threshold, ensuring consistent focus quality, longer lifespan, and no thermal lensing (focus shift from heat). All Haotian machines 80W and above come standard with quartz lenses.
Both. The M7 MOPA architecture lets you use extremely short pulses (as low as 2 nanoseconds) at low power settings to achieve the same fine, delicate surface marks as a 20W laser. Then you can instantly switch to full-power deep engraving without changing any hardware. The near single mode beam (M² less than 1.4) ensures precision at any power level.
The 100W M8 is water cooled and ships with the BJJCZ G3 PRO 2.5D head and EZCad3 as standard, with pulses from 6 ns and repetition rates up to 4 MHz. That makes it the machine for glass drilling and 2.5D mold work. The 100W M7 is air cooled and delivers higher pulse energy (1.5 mJ) on a 2D head, so it is the better value for deep metal engraving and color marking when you do not need glass.
No. The JPT M7 100W is air cooled and runs between 0 and 40 °C, ideally 10 to 30 °C. The fan speed follows the room temperature, so no external water chiller is needed. Leave at least 10 cm of free space in front of and behind the source so the air can flow.
Yes. This machine uses a JCZ control board that is fully compatible with LightBurn's galvo functionality. LightBurn works on Windows, macOS, and Linux. EZCad 2 software is also included for Windows users. You can use either software depending on your preference.
Contact our team at info@haotianlasers.com or call 989-780-2331.
