60W JPT EM7 MOPA Fiber Laser Engraver
This is our most popular machine and the one we recommend to most customers starting or growing a laser engraving business. The 60W JPT EM7 MOPA hits the sweet spot between power, versatility, and price. It delivers full MOPA capabilities including color marking on stainless steel, deep metal engraving, photo engraving, and high-speed production marking at just $4,400 with free worldwide shipping.
The JPT EM7 is a MOPA laser source that gives you the same core technology as the full M7 series: independently adjustable pulse width (1 to 500 nanoseconds), frequency (1 to 4,000 kHz), and 2.0mJ maximum pulse energy. This means you get full color marking on stainless steel, black annealing on anodized aluminum, fine detail work on sensitive materials, and deep engraving on all metals. The EM7 uses a different internal component sourcing than the M7, but the output performance and marking results are the same for the vast majority of jobs. Think of it like the difference between a Samsung Galaxy S26 and an S26 Ultra. Both do the same things. The difference is under the hood, and in most daily work it is unnoticeable.
Every Haotian 60W EM7 comes standard with a SG7110 galvo scanning head, motorized Z-axis for button-controlled height adjustment, EZCad 2 original software, and full LightBurn compatibility. We include 2 lenses of your choice, a rotary attachment, foot pedal, safety glasses, and a fixed aluminum worktable. It is a true workhorse - reliable, fast, and capable enough to handle everything from jewelry engraving to industrial batch marking.
π‘ Why This Machine Is Our Best Seller
At $4,400, the 60W EM7 delivers full MOPA color marking, deep engraving, LightBurn compatibility, and high-speed galvo performance at a price that is hard to beat. We include a free rotary and 2 free lenses of your choice that most other brands charge $200 to $400 extra for. Add our 3-year warranty (the longest in the industry) and free DDP shipping with zero customs fees, and the value speaks for itself.
What Is the JPT EM7? EM7 vs M7 Explained
JPT makes several tiers of MOPA fiber laser sources. Here is a clear, honest breakdown of what differs between the EM7 and M7 so you can decide which is right for you.
The JPT EM7 shares the same MOPA architecture, the same 1064nm wavelength, the same adjustable pulse width range (1 to 500 ns), the same wide frequency range (1 to 4,000 kHz), and the same 2.0mJ maximum pulse energy at 60W as the full M7 series. Both produce the same color marking results on stainless steel. Both do the same deep engraving on metals. Both handle the same materials with the same quality.
The difference is internal component sourcing. The M7 E-series uses imported seed diodes and pump diodes from suppliers in Canada and France. The EM7 uses domestically manufactured components for the same parts. This can affect long-term stability characteristics over many thousands of hours of continuous industrial use, but for the vast majority of daily production work, the output and marking results are identical. Both carry the same 3-year warranty from Haotian.

| Best For | Daily production, business, side hustle, hobby | Heavy 24/7 industrial production |
| Price (60W at Haotian) | $4,400 | $6,200 |
Our recommendation: For most customers, the EM7 at $4,400 is the smart choice. You get the same MOPA features, the same pulse energy, the same color marking, and the same LightBurn experience as the M7. The full M7 at $6,200 is the choice for shops running the machine at full power 8+ hours a day in a demanding production environment where the imported internal components provide extra peace of mind over years of heavy use.
Want even more power? Consider our 100W JPT M7 at $6,900. For just $700 more than the 60W M7, you get significantly more deep engraving speed plus thin metal cutting capability.

Frequently Asked Questions
Both use MOPA technology with the same pulse width range and frequency range. The EM7 uses domestically sourced internal components (seed and pump diodes) while the M7 uses imported components from Canada and France. This gives the M7 slightly higher pulse energy (1.5mJ vs 1.0mJ at 60W) and better long-term stability for 24/7 industrial use. For daily business production and side hustle work, the EM7 delivers identical marking results at a significantly lower price. We offer both: the 60W M7 at $6,200 and this EM7 at $4,400.
Yes. The EM7 is a full MOPA source with adjustable pulse width from 1 to 500 nanoseconds. This allows you to create the full spectrum of colors on stainless steel and titanium by adjusting pulse width and frequency combinations. Rainbow effects, specific color logos, and gradient designs are all possible.
Yes, 60W handles deep engraving well - up to about 0.5mm depth on metals depending on the material and number of passes. It is more than sufficient for jewelry engraving, firearm marking, custom coins, and most production marking jobs. If you need deeper than 0.5mm regularly or want faster deep engraving, consider our 100W M7 at $6,900 which roughly doubles the engraving speed.
Yes. This machine uses a JCZ control board that is fully compatible with LightBurn's galvo functionality on Windows, macOS, and Linux. EZCad 2 software is also included. Both work with all standard design file formats.
The SG7110 is a precision galvo scanning head made by Sino-Galvo, one of the leading galvo manufacturers. It features a 10mm aperture, marking speed up to 6,000 mm/s, positioning speed of 11,000 mm/s, and 99.9% linearity. It supports wavelengths from 355nm to 10.6ΞΌm with broadband coatings. This is the same galvo used in most professional fiber laser machines in the industry.
You can engrave metal tumblers and cups with the fiber laser using the included rotary attachment. However, for coated or painted tumblers (like Yeti-style cups), we strongly recommend a CO2 galvo laser instead. The CO2 removes the coating without touching the metal underneath, giving a clean finish. A fiber laser can burn through the coating and discolor the stainless steel underneath.
Email our team at [email protected] or visit our contact page. We provide lifetime technical support including setup guidance, software help, settings recommendations, and troubleshooting. You also get access to our 50,000+ member Facebook community where laser users share tips and settings daily.
Shipping is completely free. We ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) to the US, meaning all customs duties, import taxes, and handling fees are included in the $4,400 price. Your machine arrives at your door with zero additional costs. Estimated delivery is approximately 30 days from order.
